This multi purpose room has usage as a gymnasium, auditorium, cafeteria, and classroom.  The original problem was poor speech intelligibility and excessive noise.  The initial reverberation time was 6.2 seconds.  With the insulation of 168 class 1 fire rated custom color acoustical foam panels, the reverberation time was reduced to just below 2 seconds. This reduced the overall noise level by 40 percent, and provided excellent speech intelligibility.
